What is Waypoint?
Waypoint is a blog about games and how to make them! In much the same way our namesake guides players towards their in-game objective, Waypoint aims to help guide young creatives towards the gaming industry.
On the site, you’ll find a range of content, including a development blog, game industry insights, and tutorials.
While our focus is on empowering young talent in the Black Country, the insights and guidance we share are for creators of all ages and from anywhere.

Do you offer any support for gaming-related college or university courses?
Yes! Waypoint’s primary goal is to support 16-21-year-olds in the West Midlands as they pursue their ambitions in the games industry, whether through industry insights or learning creative skills.
In collaboration with the New Art Gallery, Walsall, we’d be delighted to provide talks and workshops for educational organisations in the local area. If this sounds like something that could benefit your course, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
